A new year, a new goal - By Becky Brown
Children of Peace International, otherwise known as COPI, has been the district project of the Rocky Mountain District Key Club for roughly a decade. After ten years of fundraising, school building, and life changing, this year’s district board of trustees is proud to announce that we are less than $13,000 away from completing our $72,000 pledge COPI to rejuvenate a school for indigenous children in Sa Pa, Vietnam. As the new Key Club year kicks off, we have set a new fundraising goal, ’12 in 2012’. In short, the goal is to raise at least $12,000 for the 2011-2012 year in order to add the finishing touch to our longstanding goal. If every club in the district raised just under $200, we would have went above our goal. Don’t underestimate the power of our district. Let’s do this!
